If you are interested in learning more please apply to the following role location: Rancho Cucamonga, Californiajob type: Contractsalary: $23.11 - 25.99 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High School responsibilities:The position will primarily respond to incoming provider inquiries, using Salesforce.com and, as needed, via phone. The types of inquiries include:- Registration questions related to signing up for the provider portal (Online Affiliate)
- Collaborate with IT as needed to resolve technical issues
- Process and approve or deny registration requests based on defined process steps
- Escalate issues to a Tier 2 team as needed to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues
- Maintain support issue documentation as needed in Salesforce
- Proven experience working with providers in a health plan setting, especially working with claims
- Ability to review data and metrics to draw correct conclusions for actions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent issues appropriately
- Technical abilities to support troubleshooting of potentially complex customer issues (understanding of web technologies, but coding abilities are not required)
- Provide professional & positive interaction when engaging with our External providers, users or internal business partners
- Background with providers was limited, such as only scheduling or routing documents (very simple issue management)
- No demonstrated ability in managing or prioritizing issues
- No demonstrated ability in reviewing data to make conclusions or decisions
- Customer service background with experience only in scripted responses and call handling
- Case management
- Promoting adoption of providers (including training) in software systems such as Epic or GEHealth (or other health care software program)
- Billing practices where person is involved in complex health care billing strategy, leveraging healthcare billing software
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Education: High School
