Description SAIC has an immediate requirement to fill an essential Software Engineer -AEA IPT Unique Planning and Common Component (UPC/CC) development role supporting Mission Planning. This effort is in direct support of our Naval Air Warfare Center customer in

Point Mugu, CA.

This role is located in Point Mugu, CA. Due to the secure nature of this software, work is 100% on-site/Government site. The work schedule conforms to the 9-80 Compressed Work Schedule of the Government The candidate experience must include experience in developing Mission Planning software tools within the framework of the Joint Mission Planning System - Maritime (JMPS-M) used by Naval Aviation Platforms serviced from the AEA IPT's UPC laboratory. The candidate will demonstrate proficiency in programming in C, C#, .NET and have experience in integration support of the UPC/CC tools with JMPS-M. Other programming skills and development with the following is viewed as a positive aspect of work history of value to the position and prospect. This includes the following: Programming: C#.NET, .NET Core, Win Services, Winforms, WPF, WCF, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, ADO, (X)HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, CSLA, Unity, Prism Development: OOD/P, Agile, Scrum, System Analysis, SDLC, Technical Documentation, Quality Assurance, TFS, Git The candidate will complete actions to include design, develop, document, test and debug application software and integrate emerging technology into system level software architectures. Additionally, the candidate will conduct analysis and collaborate with subject matter experts in Software Problem Report resolutions and the planning, design, development of new components, as well as deployment of new architectures for the next generation JMPS-M solution. This includes prototype code for that environment with direct platform support for critical aircraft. Qualifications

Required education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required experience:
  • Minimum nine (9) year's experience with the listed programming languages.
  • Experience with environments including Microsoft Windows, Visual Studio and .Net Frameworks
  • Familiar with waterfall and agile technologies.

Clearance requirement:
  • Candidate must have and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills:
  • Experience with JMPS-M development and integration of components.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with various system operations.
  • Familiarity with Database support and MS SQL Server
  • Experience with Software Graphic Interfaces.
