In this role, you will be responsible for the health, safety, and job performance of various facilities maintenance personnel including custodians, machines mechanics, electronic technicians, electricians, plumbers, stationary engineers, and general maintenance persons.Manage day to day operations Troubleshooting and repairs throughout the facilitiesProduction machinery and equipment repair and maintenance including CNC machinery Contractor management and oversight. Required to respond to emergency requests for assistance by Fire/Plant Protection and the mitigation of any issues resulting from such a responseResponsible for the complete planning and performance of preventive and reactive maintenance activities in support of: Manufacturing operations Infrastructure support Machinery and equipment troubleshooting, servicing, and repairResponsible for ensuring employee and contractor compliance to all company policies, procedures, safety and quality standards as well as compliance to OSHA, Air Quality Management District (AQMD) permitted equipment requirements, Fire Alarm Life Safety Systems, National Electric Code (NEC), and National Electrical Manufacturing Association NEMA regulations as they pertain to all aspects of plant engineering maintenance.This position must be available to work any shift and support weekend and holiday work as necessary.MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.What’s In It For YouOur employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually. Experience with at least three of the following disciplines: electrical, electronic, mechanical, HVAC/R, plumbing, central plant operations, fire suppression/detection systems, and sanitation services.Desired Skills: Must have strong experience directing and managing bargaining unit (Union) employees in adherence with company policies and collective bargaining agreement/s. Significant experience servicing and repairing industrial production machinery. Required to pass medical certification examinations, including respirator qualification, as required. Significant electrical and/or mechanical experience in an industrial/commercial setting.
