Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our unclassified projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightening II. Maintains accuracy of Aircraft records. Ensures employee training and certifications are current. Provides a safe work environment and takes immediate action to correct any unsafe conditions. Enforces importance and engaged in the following Policies: FOD, Housekeeping, Culture of Accountability, and 6S Standards. Interfaces daily with support organizations to ensure Program commitments are being met. Fosters a positive team environment and must be pro-active and self-motivated. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to travel and/or work at remote locations as well as work extended shifts which may include weekends and holidays. Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required.Must be a US Citizen. Minimum two (2) years flight line experience. Experience with Aircraft Forms and Documentation. Basic knowledge of Aircraft Systems. Experience with Flight Line Safety and Procedures.Desired Skills: Flight Test experience. Prior leadership experience. Experience managing represented employees.
