Job Summary:

We are looking for Construction Worker - Plumber - Electrician - General Labor - Cabinet Installer - Saw Operator - Painter - Drywall Installer - Material Handler - Forklift Operator -

We are looking for an experienced Plumber that can read blueprints, installation of plumbing in a new construction setting with experience in cast iron – CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) and pex (cross linked polyethylene).

Duties/Responsibilities:

In charge of installing, inspecting and repairing pipes and plumbing systems to make sure of all building’s fixtures operate correctly.

You consider yourself an expert in your field and can deliver high-quality results consistently.

You are well versed in the construction industry and related safety standards

You are collaborative and can successfully develop internal and external relationships to promote high-quality results that are cost-efficient.

You enjoy being the hands-on expert related to best practices in your field and can execute effective operations with minimal guidance.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Perform installation of plumbing

New construction experience with cast iron – CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) and pex (cross linked polyethylene).

Testing of both supply and drain/waste/vent systems.

Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean

Perform necessary repairs to previously installed systems

Keep up to date with current and safety regulations and requirements for the installed plumbing system.

Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.

Maintain accurate records on material and labor used

Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials. Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.

Keep detailed reports of completed work

Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep.

Safety:

Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.

Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.

Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.

Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.

Tools:

Hand and power tools Basin Wrench, Toilet Auger Pipe Wrench Tube Cutter, etc.

Education and Experience:

Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques Knowledge of plumbing codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to use hand and power tools.

Dexterity skills for proper handling of hands when working on cramped and delicate spaces and parts

3 years minimum of service & repair plumber.

Expertise in modular construction is a plus

Ability to diagnose & perform plumbing work

State plumbing license (preferred).

demonstrates quality workmanship

Physical Requirements:

Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.

Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50-70 pounds.

Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.

Frequently works in closed or cramped spaces.
