Family Law Attorney with 4 to 7 years Experience for Remote position

Moradi Saslaw LLP, a dynamic boutique family law firm established in 2009, is seeking an attorney with 4 -7 years of family law experience. More experienced candidates with a combination of family law and other legal experience are strongly encouraged to apply as well.

Our attorneys have the discretion to determine the billable hour requirement at the outset that best for them, and that amount can change over time, because we appreciate that your needs may change at different times of your life.

Depending on experience, you will run many of your cases, while receiving ample support, mentoring and training from the partners.

We typically staff one paralegal to 2 lawyers, so there is ample administrative and paralegal support.

We used to have a fancy office, but our team survey let management know that most people wanted to work remotely, so we listened. We operate remotely and have offices to meet clients when needed.

We have in-person off-sites about once a quarter, attorney zoom meetings once a week to talk about cases, and all firm zoom meetings once every two weeks to promote team building and education.

ABOUT YOU

You are committed to the practice of excellence in family law and put clients first.

You are proactive and resourceful. You don’t have all the answers, but you know how to issue spot, make suggestions, and ask for guidance when needed.

You make mistakes because you take risks and are human, and when you do, you own up to them, strategizing with a partner on how best to address them.

You have experience with sophisticated, high-asset cases, custody, and litigation.

You have represented clients in short cause hearings. Some second chair trial experience would be preferred, but not required. If you have more, great!

You have exceptional interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.

You are kind.

You live in PST or MST. Live in the Bay Area? Great! If not, you are able to travel to court appearances and meetings with clients as needed, which we cover. 2 of the partners of the firm live in San Diego and commute as needed. (You still must be licensed in California).

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

1200 -1500 billable hours per year (you choose), plus bonuses for any amount billed above

Profit sharing for cases you originate

Top of the market compensation range, based on selected billable hour requirement and experience, ranging from $270K-$300K.

We pay for family law specialization, bar dues, CLE, professional training, and most marketing

We pay a $10K recruitment bonuses for recruiting attorneys to join our team, so if you refer us to another amazing attorney candidate, we will pay you $10K.
