It focuses its practice in collections, medical reimbursement, business litigation, probate litigation, and Medi-Cal eligibility and appeals. Our growing firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our company.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Litigation support and typical paralegal duties

Using our software to create and manage documents

Concise calendaring abilities

Communicating with clients and third parties

Drafting court pleadings, discovery, and correspondence

Reviewing and proofreading documents

Phone support and other office management duties

Qualifications:

Microsoft Office: 5 years Required

Law office software: 5 years Required

Experience with probate or Medi-Cal Law Preferred

Probate litigation experience a plus

Very comfortable interacting with clients over email and on the phone

Clear communicator (both verbal and written)

Accustomed to dealing with a heavy file volume

Takes ownership for assigned files

Attention to detail

Self-starter/self-motivated

Tech savvy and willing to learn new software programs

Works well independently but also as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Wage commensurate with experience

Education:

Paralegal Certificate is a must
