Job Description A Newport Beach-based startup in the private equity space is looking for a full-time director/lead/head (title flexible) who can lead their migration from on-prem to Azure. This position is only 1-2 days in office to support the current on-prem environment, however, otherwise has remote flexibility, incredibly incentives, and is full-time with all the great benefits! In this role, you will be the absolute SME for all things IT, cloud, and migrations. Though this is one of the first hires on the tech team, it will grow to a larger team as the company grows overall. Performing this migration will mean being hands-on at first and then transitioning responsibilities to others, additionally helping in the hiring process too. This is a very unique opportunity for someone who wants to be in an autonomous spot that allows them to do things the right way with no red tape. As this company specializes in equity, having investment banking, equity, or finance industry experience is a huge plus for them! Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years experience in the following:
    • General Software Development and IT
    • Windows Systems and Active Directory
  • 5+ years experience in the following:
    • Azure Cloud & Related Tooling
  • Other helpful experience:
    • On-prem to cloud migrations
    • Prior management or leadership roles
    • Finance, Private Equity, Investment Banking
  • BS in Computer Science or similar
