KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Lead .NET Engineer: .NET Desktop apps / full stack arch/dev w/ team leadership This is a hands-on, full-stack development leadership position responsible for leading as well as coding, designing, and supporting applications that support key business objectives. This role leads a dedicated team and collaborates with multiple technology and business teams. This role provides guidance and oversight to other developers (offshore).

Essential Functions:Lead a team of developers to deliver quality software.Participate in re-architecting a complex .NET Desktop app that was poorly build. Would also be charged with enhancements, maintenance, & some new feature builds. Collaborate with management to develop code review processes.Collaborate with management to develop standard coding practices.Perform regularly scheduled code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.Assist in performance evaluations and goal setting for junior developers.Align skills with current technology and transfer knowledge to other developers.Mentor and coach other developers.Continually advance skills and experience of other developers.Drive continuous cross-training to minimize single points of failure.Design, develop and test software applications.Maintain systems by identifying and correcting software defects.Create technical specifications and unit test plans.Work with QA to align understanding of requirements and to develop system test plans.Work as part of an Agile development team to solve problems and develop projects in a fast-paced environment.Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Demonstrate a basic degree of creativity and problem-solving skills.Follow the established software development life cycle (SDLC).Follow established coding standards and naming conventions.Support applications using software development methodologies including structured programming, documentation, design, and code review.Work with business analysts and application users to define and design robust user-centric application solutions.Collaborate with UX resources to drive a consistent look and feel of user interface.Collaborate with database resources to ensure robust and complete data access and manipulation.Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure hardware and software are aligned to deliver business requirements.On-site or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.Perform other business tasks or functions as assigned.

Required Technical Skills:Bachelor degree is a plus, especially if in Computer Science or similarRelevant certifications are a plus1-2+ years of technical lead experience over .NET full stack software engineersGood team player, have the ability and willingness to mentor junior developers.Experience with code review and evaluation.Good at understanding requirements, estimation, execution, and delivery.Experience w/ assigning (technical) tasksExperience leading on & offshore teams is a plusProactive in issue resolution with a positive attitude5-10+ years of Full Stack .NET Desktop software architecture development skills that includes:.NET Core or newer is a plusC# / .NETWPF or WinformsAPIs (Rest)Entity FrameworkMS SQLHTMLCSSJavaScriptWillingness to do enhancements, maintenance, new feature build, re-architect the old system for improvements, and respond to bugs/tickets. Experience using Azure DevOps (for a repo) is preferred.Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)Experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projectHave knowledge of new technologies and a passion for enhancing existing skills.Able to support development standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter that can work well in a team environment.Understands solutions at an enterprise level.Understanding of health insurance is a plus.Health insurance industry and/or regulation-driven (HIPAA, PHI, PII, etc.) development experience is a plus.
