Procurement Agent

Description We are with a local organization looking for an experienced Procurement Agent.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:· Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure advantageous terms.· Develop and implement procurement strategies, review and analyze costs, and track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.· Regularly review supplier performance in line with KPIs, quality, cost, and delivery targets.· Oversee important supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and prices.· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.· Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner to meet business needs.· Manage every phase of the procurement process, which includes identifying opportunities to reduce procurement costs.Requirements · A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is required.· Prior experience as procurement officer, procurement agent, or another relevant role.· Deep knowledge of supply chain management and understanding of market dynamics.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.· Strong negotiation and networking skills.· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.· Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
