Reporting to the Regional Vice President of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Accounting Director will oversee critical Financial Reporting Processes and Programs at the System-level, and will directly support operational teams across the Western U.S. Supporting the Director is a tenured and skilled team of Asset Analysts, Accountant Specialists, and Professional Financial Services Staff.

The Director of Healthcare Accounting will play a strategic role within the organization, developing, interpreting, and implementing Financial Planning and Control concepts. Working closely with Revenue Cycle and Finance Leadership, the Director will develop and participate in cross-functional objectives to improve and influence system-wide policies, procedures, and processes.

In addition to interdepartmental leadership, the Accounting Director will also get to lead an amazing team of GAAP Reporting and Consolidation Accountants and Professionals. Strong communication and problem solving skills are greatly valued, as is an enthusiasm for mentoring and developing talent across the Accountant Team. This type of experience is usually earned with one of the Big 4 firms, but experience in highly diversified and complex organizations with successive levels of accountability will be the primary consideration.
