job summary:

VFX Technical Artist needed for permanent role with Randstad Technologies client in California or remote in several other states

Requirements:

  • Ability to productively collaborate and communicate with teammates
  • Excellent understanding of Blueprint bonus if knowledge includes Niagara Modules
  • Ability to research, document, concept, manage, and design large and small projects
  • Shipped multiple games using the Unreal game engine

Software Knowledge:

  • Unreal - Blueprint & Materials
  • Render Doc / Pix
  • Houdini

location: Newport Beach, California

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Ability to productively collaborate and communicate with teammates
  • Assist in the development of VFX pipelines
  • Develop technical solutions for advanced VFX
  • Write necessary plugins and scripts for DCC tools using Python and JavaScript
