Role: Data Scientist Manager

Compensation: $200,000-250,000 (DOE)

Location: Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid onsite/remote 2-3 days per week. Not open to 100% remote, but will consider candidates relocating to our offices)

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in working on innovative digital media projects for a global user-driven platform. We are looking for a Manager of Data Scientists who are looking to advance their career on a fast-paced team focused on Risk and Safety.

As a manager of data science, this person will be managing a team of data scientist, leading goals, while developing deep partnerships with product and engineering teams to scope, design, execute, measure, and impact the Safety efforts. This person will conduct quantitative analysis, deliver insights, and influence the Safety decision making through understanding of user behavior and safety.

Requirements

This team is growing rapidly and now is the time to join! This position will be based out of either our Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area office in a hybrid setting.

·4+ years experience in a data science, data analytics, or quantitative analytical role

·2+ years in a leadership role

·Expert level with SQL/Python

·Data Visualizations, Data modeling techniques, reporting solutions

·Experience working with international partners in different time zones

·Online media, internet, or social media industry experience is a nice to have
