Administrative Assistant for Broadcast & Event Venu

Wave Street Studios is an eco-modern professional sound stage and live broadcast and event venue in Monterey. The studio is creating Wave Street Live, a subscriber supported free authenticity based health equity channel, sharing live publicly attended healthy living events, free worldwide.

JOB SUMMARY

Assist the studio schedule, pre-promote, host and live stream a wide variety of publicly attended classes, workshops, practices and events at Wave Street Studios in Monterey.

Responsibilities include:

Greet visitors and clients at Wave Street Studios. Maintain warm & professional presence on the telephone and in-person.

Answer inquiries and send client requested proposals for studio’s products and services via phone, email and on social media.

Maintain the master calendar for all meetings, uses and events.

Assist the studio add new artists, organizations and subscribers to our Wave Street Live channel

Send out press releases. Schedule and post upcoming events as per the studio's social media plan.

The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem-solver and organized. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing their own time and tasks, is essential in this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

➡ Bachelor’s degree OR one year of work experience in events, admin, studio production, or management

➡ Exceptional over-the-phone and in-person customer service skills

➡ Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner

➡ Willing openness to learn new skills, computer applications, concepts, etc.

➡Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with youth, peers, volunteers, interns, various clients, etc. in a wide range of situations.

➡ Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite

➡ Detail-oriented self-starter

➡ Excellent interpersonal communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

➡ Basic graphic design skills and program knowledge: Canva, Photoshop, VistaPrint, etc.

➡ Proficiency in Windows OS

➡ Interest or experience in film production, Green technology & design, and events

➡ Interest in health and wellness

We are looking for a full-time employee: 5 days a week.
