Successful, highly specialized, high-end residential construction company is seeking an experienced office manager. Office location is Big Sur, California but certain hours could involve working from home. Company ethic is client focused, integrity at any cost and mutual support among coworkers. Applicant must have at least 5 years experience in office management and be highly proficient in Quickbooks and Excel. The position is full time with a minimum of 32 hours per week. Starting salary is $25 per hour.
Responsibilities Include:
Support company operations by maintaining existing office systems while developing new strategies as needed
Maintain office services by maintaining and organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and assigning and monitoring clerical functions
Responsible for executing and coordinating all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable and human resource records
Coordinate and execute subcontractor billing
Coordinate and implement HR education and certification programs as needed
Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Coordinate and implement established office policies by maintaining standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees as needed
Achieve financial objectives by assisting in preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Contribute to team effort and success through excellent performance in all aspects of job requirements
