Desktop Support TechnicianIMMEDIATE NEED for a Desktop Support Technician to join a retail company at their office in Monrovia, CA for a contract role with potential for extension and conversion to permanent employee. This role requires Covid vaccination.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows powered IT environments
• Support and diagnose Microsoft Windows based desktop and laptop computer systems
• Operate on-site and remotely to analyze and fix both urgent and lingering issues related to reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall functionality
• Efficient system architecture and proactive monitoring
• Assessment of wireless environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience overall and at least 1-2 years experience in a desktop support role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows environments. Mac OS experience is a plus.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Office Products/O365 and especially Outlook.
• Strong experience loading new applications on desktops/laptops, imaging, and deploying updates/changes.
• Strong experience with peripheral devices including printers, scanners, etc.
• Solid experience with Active Director and Exchange (setting up and deleting accounts, maintenance)
• Experience setting up and supporting mobile devices
• Experience supporting retail applications and/or Point of Sale (POS) equipment experience a plus.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer service aptitude
