Industrial Mechanic

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment - Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical and electrical principles.

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including Production Saws, Roller Presses, Forklifts & Air Compressors.

Fleet Maintenance, BIT 90 Inspection & Repair (Crane Trucks & Flat Bed Trailers)

Removing and re-installing Electric Motors & Gear Boxes.

Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.

PM duties as assigned.

Fabrication and modification for existing equipment as needed.

Analyze error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.

Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.

Document and communicate equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have own TOOLS

Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience required

Advanced understanding of Hydraulics, Electrical, Pneumatics and Mechanics

Must have diesel mechanical knowledge of diesel engines

Must have basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

Must have knowledge of air brake systems

Welding experience IS A PLUS

Must be able to pass background check

Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools

Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
