Automotive Shop Lot Attendant / Shop Porter

(Full or Part time positions)

Responsibilities:

Drives vehicles to and from service areas and lot as needed

Provides customer courtesy washes as requested

Shuttle vehicles and customers on/off premises when needed

Reports dashboard lights to the Service Department

Supports the Service Department by recording customer’s name, VIN,

tag number, mileage, and photographing existing vehicle damage

Cleans driveway, lot, sidewalks and takes out trash

Maintaining cleanliness of the shop and lot

Maintains a professional appearance

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred

Must have a clear, valid driver’s license and drive safely.

Comfortable working outside, amidst various weather elements

Punctual

Pay and Benefits:

Starting wage $13.00/hr.
