Estimator (Ceres)

Estimator will prepare comprehensive exterior Lath & Plastering 1 and 3 coat stucco systems budgets and estimate proposals through quantity surveying and detail pricing for commercial, residential & apartments assignments will range in value, but will often exceed $3,000,000

The estimator will demonstrate excellent people and communication skills and is the lead during bidding of projects

and working closely with internal team (project managers, superintendents, purchasing,safety,field personnel,fiance,etc.) within the company during bid process to achieve thorough, detailed, accurate estimates and their timely delivery to our clients.

Prepare accurate conceptual Lath, Plastering, Stucco systems and Architectural Foam estimates budgets and pricing, per bid procedures:

Extensive market research/ knowledge of construction materials

Develop job essential data including quanity take-offs, material price list, labor costs per man hour, and equipment to ensure accurate estimates and bids

Maintain files of working documents for back up to estimating figures to support accuracy of bid submission

Sales calls/ follow up bid results

submitting RFI's for existing projects

Participate in negotiating final pricing,contracts,bids and change orders

Work Experience

5-7 years of building materials: Lath & Plaster construction estimating/ take off support, field support, sales

Experience in scaffold, lath and plaster projects ( strongly preferred)

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Proficiency with all MS Office products ( word, excel, powerpoint, etc/ Online quick bid takeoff software

Excellent communication interpersonal skills, plus demostrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.

Ability to multi task between bidding and existing project

Ability to thrive under stressful deadline driven construction office pressure

Ability and willingness to abide by ACP's code of Conduct on a daily basis
