Genesis10 is currently seeking a Test Engineer with our client in their Milpitas, CA location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform set-up, calibration, testing, data-collection and troubleshooting of digital and analog circuits, components, PCBs, and sub-system modules
• Build test fixtures and setups
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• Determine and develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in semiconductor / medical / military equipment industry
• BSEE degree
• Diversified knowledge and experience in electrical systems, electronic design, analog/digital design, control systems.
• Hands on experience with lab instruments like logic analyzer, oscilloscope, eLoad etc.
• Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization
• Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on changes of business priority dynamics
• The candidate should be self-driven, yet a strong team player
• Work on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent judgment/action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp)
