Parents & Friends, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, creatively serving people with developmental challenges and similar needs since 1955. We are hiring full-time and part-time for various positions which include days, nights, and overnights.

A desire to help others and a willingness to work to achieve goals is what our positions require. Training is provided. The selected individuals must successfully pass a background check, DMV check, pre-employment physical and TB test.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides day-to-day guidance and assistance to adults who have developmental challenges and similar needs in a variety of settings based on individual needs and preferences. The goal of this service is to teach needed and desired skills when possible and/or support individuals in ways that promote self-reliance, self-determination and participation in community. DSPs may provide support in areas including, but not limited to, educational, vocational, personal care, health, medical, independent living, and community integration. DSPs help provide access to community resources and opportunities to develop social relationships with peers and others in the community.
