Opportunity in marketing, strategy, and social media. Help the new start-up, Chickfly, launch an online business by capturing momentum after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

This part-time position is intended for an independent contractor who would like to further develop their career with a prominent campaign that could lead to a full-time position. Compensation depending on experience.

Marketing, Strategy, and Social Media The goal of this work will be to help Chickfly launch an online store following a successful Kickstarter campaign and further develop Chickfly community of followers and brand ambassadors on Social Media. It will be important to maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our marketing goals as well as reach out to key groups and individuals able to help propel the brand and campaign to a wider audience. This work will include developing marketing strategy and deck, developing photo and graphic content, copywriting, doing engaging email campaigns, helping on the next webpage buildout, collaborating with ambassadors for photo and video shoots, managing Chickfly social community, using social media platforms to publish content, managing editorial calendar, and tracking user engagement via analytics platforms.

Creativity and idea generation will be an integral part of this position. The following list is what we envision the job consisting of, however, we are interested in hearing your ideas. The ideal candidate will work well both with others and on their own, and be both self-driven as well as mission-driven.

· Help develop and evolve the existing draft marketing plan, help bring it to the next level quickly, and then follow it!

· Develop content strategy and manage editorial calendar

· Edit and publish engaging content for Chickfly, focusing on Facebook, Instagram, with the potential to explore more channels.

· Write copy consistent with the authentic and unique Chickfly voice

· Develop and edit graphics and photos for social media posts

· Possibly assistance in photo shoots or video edits

· Use social media platform, such as Buffer

· Develop ambassador program, work with ambassadors to get quality content from them as well as being tagged by them

· Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors

· Select appealing images and videos to complement text

· Update our social media pages with compelling company news

· Create advertising posts (e.g. on-line store launch, new product releases)

· Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)

· Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness

· Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner

· Network with clients and industry professionals
