HOT JOB Security Patrol Officer

GSSi, Inc., a 4th generation family owned security company established in 1944, has openings for unarmed uniformed patrol officers in the greater Los Angeles area.

Shift: Day/Swing/Grave

Pay starts at $19.00 per hour. Employees who meet expectations of their assignment are eligible for a monthly incentive.

Basic Responsibilities:

1. Hi-visibility patrol by foot, E-Bike, vehicle

2. Complete daily activity logs and reports

3. Respond to calls for service

4. Customer service/public relations work

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid State of CA BSIS Guard Card.

2. Valid State of CA Driver's License.

3. Baton Permit (Must obtain within 90 days, GSSi will provide training/permit assistance)

4. Pepper Spray Permit (Must obtain within 90 days, GSSi will provide training/permit assistance)

5. Ability to work holidays, weekends, OT if needed.

6. Minimum 6 months experience as a security officer.

7. Proficient with smart phones/tablets

8. Ability to operate an E-Bike (motorized)

9. Ability to operate a company patrol vehicle.

10. Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult or stressful situations

11. Ability to walk, stand, crouch, sit for extended periods.

12. Bi-Lingual (English Spanish) preferred

1. Previous employment/reference checks

2. 10 year criminal history search

4. Driver history

5. Basic (non-Cannabis) Drug Screen
