As a Grocery Associate, you will be the face of Amazon and will contribute to a vibrant store team. As a Food Service Associate, you will contribute to a vibrant kitchen team.Pay starts at$15.35per hour with benefits available.As you complete your application for this job, you will be able to select your preferences for the area(s) of our grocery store you are interested in for employment.What You Do:For any of our Associate positions:Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidaysYou are comfortable working in a physical environment. You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and be on your feet for a shift, up to 10 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodationCandidates must be at least 18 years of age. Amazon does not sponsor for immigration, including for H-1B, TN, and other non-immigrant visas, for this role.As a Grocery Associate:During store operating hours, you operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cashDuring store operating hours, you deliver excellent customer service when answering customer questionsReceive, stock, and replenish productUse systems to scan, process, and count inventoryIdentify and communicate barriers to completing assigned tasksKeep the store as clean and beautiful as on Day 1Rotate between additional duties as assignedAs a Food Service Associate:Work with food products, which may include produce, prepared meals, meat, fish, rotisserie, etc. to transform ingredients into delicious food for our customersDeliver excellent customer service when answering questions and interacting with customersPrepare, package, and label food products of varying temperaturesIdentify and communicate barriers to completing assigned tasksKeep the kitchen and all preparation tools as clean and beautiful as on Day 1Perform additional duties as assignedObtain local food handling certification, if requiredAPPLY NOWBASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school or equivalent diplomaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCustomer-facing experience or 1+ years of Amazon experienceExperience in food productionDemonstrated positive work attitudeInterest in learning new skills and contributing to many different processes within the store or the kitchen​​Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
