Case Manager Personal Injury

Description

The Shahbaz Firm, APC is seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Case Manager to assist at a Personal Injury law office.

Duties

Case management;

Maintaining the office calendar;

Opening claims with insurance companies;

Managing pre-litigation files;

Medical management;

Lien management;

Handling client's property damage claim;

Assisting clients in scheduling doctor appointments;

Requesting police reports and medical records;

Providing clients with status updates regarding their respective cases;

Translating documents from Spanish to English and English to Spanish;

Preparing Demands;

Responding to discovery;

Preparing client declarations and letters to clients; and

Handling all case related mail/faxes/correspondence.

Requirements

Detail oriented.

Fluency in Spanish is a requirement, including the ability to speak, read and write in a professional manner.

Friendly and enthusiastic attitude is a must.

Works well under pressure.

Candidates must also demonstrate an ability to manage several tasks at once while giving priority to those most urgent.

Required at least one year of experience in a personal injury law firm.

Compensation

Dependent upon experience and level of education.
