If you are interested in this job, you must have had caregiving or nursing experience and must provide references.

I am a quadriplegic and need in-home caregiving 7 days per week, mornings 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and evenings 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (10 p.m. to midnight on Mondays).

If you want to work only mornings or evenings or only 5 days per week, that is probably OK, the job can be filled by two people.

The job pays $18/hour to start. You will be paid for the full 2 hours shifts even if you work less on any shift. You will be paid for the time worked if you need to work more than 2 hours on any shift.

I live very near the Sunset Blvd. exit from the 405 freeway.

I have four pressure ulcers. These need to be cleaned and rebandaged once per day.

I had a colostomy and have an ostomy bag which needs to be emptied twice daily and changed two times per week. Experience doing that is a big positive.

I also have an ileostomy tube which needs to be cleaned and irrigated once daily. I also have a supra-pubic catheter which needs to be cleaned twice daily. The urine bag needs to be emptied twice daily.

I have a Hoyer lift, which is used for transfers from my wheelchair to my bed. Do you have experience using a Hoyer lift?

The job also includes giving me my pills, helping me with chores, and some straightening up and minor cleaning (primarily in the kitchen, dinette, and TV room). Experience operating a Hoyer lift is preferable.

I speak only English, so the person hired needs to be able to communicate in English.
