Full Job Description

We are looking for a Chef familiar with Korean Chinese cuisine to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. Chef responsibilities include preparing high-quality dishes such as Jjajangmyeon and Jjampong. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with Korean-Chinese recipes, we’d like to meet you regardless of your language or ethnicity. Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests.Chef Job Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage culinary team.

Create prep lists for kitchen crew.

Manage food costing and inventory.

Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.

Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.

Establish maintenance and cleaning schedules for equipment, storage, and work areas.

Participate in interview process and selection of kitchen staff.

Chef Qualifications / Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices

Understanding of menu and recipe development techniques

Strong leadership abilities

Understanding of health and sanitation laws

Excellent knife-handling skills

Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent

3-5 years experience in high-volume Chinese restaurant kitchen.

Previous kitchen management experience

ServSafe certification

Bilingual English / Korean / Spanish

Hours: 9:00am 9:00pm

5-6 Days a week.
