Republik Coffee in Pasadena, is looking for one barista to join our team. We are passionate about our coffee and food we are looking for an individual who shares that passion with us. Here at Republik we wholeheartedly believe in providing our customers a fantastic experience, from the hello at the door to the art in the cup.we will teach you all the technical skills it takes to be a good barista, so no prior experience in the field is necessary. What is necessary is genuine and excitement for what we do, a willingness to learn, and a desire to take care of your fellow humans.We pool tips and add them to your paycheck. Adjusted hourly rate with tips included is about $21 to $22 /hour and often more. You can expect a baseline of $6 per hour in tips plus cash . We also offer health benefits for full time employees.Main ActivitiesPrepare each drink accurately, efficiently, and beautifully. Follow the established health and safety guidelines. Interact and develop relationships with customers regularly, professionally, and with compassion. Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Maintain a clean and beautiful dining room. QualificationsComposure in high-stress situations. High integrity, Self-Driven, High Emotional Intelligence. Problem Solver. Strong personality and character. Excellent customer service skills. Sales experience. An ability to build relationships with the client base. Working experience as a barista.
