Baking Assistant

We are a fast-growing business seeking a part-time/full-time assistant baker to join the team! Our work environment is very friendly. We will train you for the work.

You are going to assist the owner to bake the cookies from scratch. We are looking for a reliable person with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

In August, we need your help to fold all the packaging boxes, and we will train you for our baking work. In September, you will start to bake with us.

Cookie making including weighing ingredients, shaping, and baking

Dishwashing (not a lot)

Prepare for shipments including folding boxes and packaging

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen experience preferred

Fluent in English

Works in an organized, deliberate manner in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with less or no supervision

Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license

Regular hours are Monday-Friday 9 AM am-3 PM. However, you may be asked to work on weekends & holidays in case of business needs.

Current Food Handlers Certification required

Physical requirements:

Constant standing and walking.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling.

Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.

Occasional ascending or descending ladders

Be able to use professional bakery equipment including mixers and dough sheeters after training
