California, Los angeles, 90001 Los angeles USADescription The Office Manager – Company Culture & Operations is a unique hybrid role designed for a highly motivated individual who is excited about both managing office operations and actively contributing to the positive culture at our firm. This position will involve ensuring smooth administrative functions, while also championing employee engagement, well-being, and the values that define our workplace culture. You will be the go-to person for all office needs, from managing office logistics to supporting team-building initiatives. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring that our team members are empowered to perform their best work and are excited to come into the office each day. Key Responsibilities: Culture & Employee Engagement: Foster Company Culture: Lead efforts to nurture a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that aligns with the firm’s core values and mission. Organize regular team-building activities, social events, and company celebrations that encourage employee engagement and promote a sense of community. Advocate for employee well-being by promoting a healthy work-life balance, offering wellness initiatives, and encouraging detail oriented growth and development. Onboarding & Orientation: Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the firm. This includes facilitating introductions, providing office tours, and helping new hires feel welcomed and integrated into the team. Internal Communication & Feedback: Serve as a liaison between staff and management, helping to convey important messages and updates to employees while gathering feedback to improve workplace morale and satisfaction. Organize regular employee surveys or check-ins to gauge employee happiness and address any concerns. Office Operations: Manage Daily Office Operations: Oversee day-to-day office functions, including maintaining office supplies, managing office equipment, and coordinating with vendors for office maintenance. Ensure that the office space is organized, welcoming, and conducive to collaboration, with a focus on employee comfort and productivity. Event Planning & Coordination: Plan and coordinate both internal and client-facing events (such as tax season celebrations, client appreciation events, or team retreats) to build relationships and enhance firm culture. Manage logistics for office meetings, conferences, and other engagements. Support Leadership & Staff: Assist the leadership team with administrative tasks, scheduling, and project management as needed. Act as the point of contact for any office-related concerns or inquiries from staff, helping to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements 3+ years of experience in office management, HR, or a related field; prior experience in a tax or detail oriented services environment is a plus. Proven ability to create and sustain a positive, engaging workplace culture. Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people and build relationships. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage office operations and handle logistical challenges in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office software tools. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing needs. Empathy and the ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of workplace wellness and employee engagement best practices is a plus.
