Staff Accountant

Description Robert Half has partnered up with a dynamic, innovative Non-Profit firm to fill a Staff Accountant position on their team. Located in the Los Angeles, California region, the organization offering this short-term contract / contract / contract / temporary to hire opportunity provides rewards to those who dedicate extra effort in the work place. In this role, the Staff Accountant is in charge of preparing monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. This position will require a fair amount of time dedicated to producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. During the monthly close, many aspects of internal reporting will be your responsibility. In addition, you will be in charge of communicating with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, playing an active role in compliance, and looking over schedules for the reporting processes.
