A bit about us:

We're a medical device manufacturer for breathing devices and we're adding a Sr Software Engineer to our team in Irvine. We are expecting this person to be on-site 1-2 times per week, OR 1-2 times per month depending on the quality of the candidate and location. You are working hands-on with devices so you need to be local enough to get on site in person.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role:

Detect and eliminate software design errors
Craft and develop automated test scripts for system regression test
Improve software robustness by refactoring complicated designs
Improve efficiency and robustness build-release tools and process

Job Details

Your Skills and Expertise:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent field with 5+ years of experience
Experience with C, C and C# programming languages
Experience with a scripting language such as Lua, Python, or equivalent
Proven understanding of Structured Design and Object-Oriented Design concepts
Familiar with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
