As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Submit your application today!ResponsibilitiesBuild analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Complete other projects as required
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments Requirements - 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
This position is for candidates with financial reporting systems proficiency
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Vow to meet business deadlines
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
ERP system experience
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
QuickBooks experience required
Proficiency in grant accounting
Microsoft Excel experience
A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
