Senior Cloud Security Engineer

This company is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to come in and be a leader and bring in curiosity and ideas. In this position you will be a security expert and be responsible for evaluating, implementing and managing security tools that are designed to protect and detect cloud infrastructure. As well develop security controls for existing systems and operations in the environment. This job entails promoting positive change and building a security aware technology culture. You will have hands on experienced combined with working knowledge. This is a fully remote position. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with incident and outage response and threat detection
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering and operations
• Design and implement container security enhancements.
• Experience with cloud-navigating tools AWS and Google Cloud Platform
• Lead automation efforts to minimize manual work, ensure compliance goals, and support continuous delivery frameworks and tools.
• Web application security, browser security models, and application security vulnerabilities such as the OWASP Top Ten.

• Expert level knowledge of cyber security operations
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related degree, or equivalent job experience.
• Possess an ISACA and/or ISC2 certification, such as CISSP, CCSP, or CSX-P
