The Human Resources Assistant will be in control of a wide variety of assignments, including owning a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings

Perform various administrative duties

Research the internet to locate potential customers Requirements - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment

Accomplished in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

Experience with contract negotiation

Compensation and benefits experience preferred

Adeptness in health insurance

Solid understanding of 401k - RRSP Administration

Strong familiarity with benefits coordination

Benefits administration experience required
