Permanent residents only.This is an onsite job and no relocation assistance is available.Skills & Requirements:- Plan, install, and setup physical and virtual SQL servers to meet application, security, and regulatory requirements.- Configure, tune, monitor, and maintain all current supported SQL instances and applications.- Audit production systems for security, capacity, and usage.- Schedule and prioritize activities on projects involving the deployment of application and software.- Configure AlwaysOn Availability Cluster, replication, log shipping for high-availability for production databases.- Provide high-level technical design, fully document requirements and processes from the business and architect, design and implement appropriate solutions.- Maintain data warehouses.- Design and deploy data table structures, reports, and queries.- Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.- Assure security of data from external parties and for management of row-level-security within the organization.- Plan and coordinate backup and disaster recovery setup.- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.- Develop and maintain database stored procedures, views, and functions that support reporting data models.- Develop and maintain ETL processes and procedures for applications using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).- Produce ad-hoc queries that develop reports to support business needs.- Create reports and data models using Power BI that meet business requirements.- Provide data management support to users.- Create and maintain technical documentation.- Monitor and troubleshoot servers and their usage and capacity to minimize problems and outages.- Define, develop, implement, and maintain the process involved in administration, maintenance, security, backup, and recovery.- Proactively work with technical support, communications support, and vendors to resolve problems.Skills & Requirements:- 5+ years of experience working in a SQL DBA or similar capacity, including strong database development skills and responsibilities.- Well-versed in T-SQL, triggers, views, functions, and stored procedures.- Intermediate to advanced skills with SQL Server Engine, T-SQL, and performance tuning.- Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012R2, SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016 design, build and implementation tasks.- Content migration between SQL Server 2008/R2 and SQL Server 2012/2014/2016.- Experience with large DW backup and restore for disaster recovery.- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, performance monitoring, and SQL Profiler.- Proven experience and success handling SQL Server unexpected downtimes.- Experience with systems/database analysis, design, and modeling.- Experience with development of SSIS/ETL packages (DTS preferred as well).- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.- C#.NET experience is preferred. tags: senior database administrator, senior sql database administrator, senior sql dba, senior database engineer, senior sql database engineer
