Supplier Quality Specialist

Requirements:

• prior aerospace background
• 5-6 years experience in Quality and Product within the
  aerospace industry
• Bachelors or equivalent experience
• Familiar with aerospace drawings
• Ability to interpret models =
  important
• Car, driver’s license, insurance, and able to travel site to site. (will never be required to be onsite at Client daily like a desk job, their job is to travel to different supplier sites)

• Interfacing with Client suppliers.
• Product verification.
• Are the parts conforming – do they need adjustments/ meet engineering requirements
• Source inspections.
• Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier’s systems, processes, and products.
• Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements.
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Resolves routine issues and concerns.
