The Desktop Support Tech in this position will be configuring, managing, and shipping IT assets. Candidates must have 1 of the following certifications to qualify: A+, Network+, or Security+ or acquire one of them within 4 months. Friday 8 am to 5 pm shift - may be adjusted 1 hour later or earlier depending on client need and current shift allocation. Overview:
- Networking Hardware removal and installation
- Software installation / re-installation
- Network wiring and cable support
- Smart hands testing
- Must have strong Desktop Support experience
- Experience with UPS systems required
- Must have A+, Network+ or Security+ to qualify or acquire one of them within 120 days
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to transform technical IT language into terms everyone understands
- Relatable with customers and impeccable with follow-through

- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, and climb and stamina to stand up most of the day
