This is a 100%, onsite role based out of our headquarters in West Hollywood, California. You will work out of the WeHo office HQ 5-days a week to support the IT Service Desk team with fulfillment of hardware related tasks that support our help desk requests. You'll work behind the scenes to organize, prepare, ship and receive assets. You'll resolve assigned tasks in our service desk software and maintain asset statuses and quantities in our CMDB software. The role works only to support the service desk team and does not often interact directly with employees other than to coordinate the sending and receiving of assets. The perfect candidate will be organized, on time, enjoy working alone and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The position reports to the IT Manager and works alongside the service desk team.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Competent in ITIL Service Management best practices.
  • 3-5 years experience using CMDB software like Freshservice, ServiceNow and Snipe-IT.
  • Expert level organizational skills.
  • Process and detail oriented.
  • Enjoys working independently and can meet deadlines.
  • Packing tape ninja and great with creating and printing shipping labels.
  • Can carry 50lbs, climb a step ladder and load TVs with assistance from others. Has transportation to occasionally pick up online orders at retailers.
  • Competent of various current streaming devices, computer peripherals and cables.
  • Novice with macOS, Windows OS and mobile operating systems.
  • Experienced backing up and restoring important data.
  • Strong understanding of connectivity standards and data, video and power cables.

Responsibilities: Asset Management
  • Organizes and maintains IT storage room.
  • Ensures accurate and minimum stock levels.
  • Owns and maintains CMDB database.
  • Conducts quarterly inventory audits.
  • Recommends improvements on process and workflow both logistically and digitally.
  • Compiles list of hardware for purchase to meet stock levels and individual requests.
  • Computer lifecycle management including refreshes, repairs and e-waste.

Fulfillment
  • Completes tasks assigned by the IT Service Desk team to support employee requests.
  • Sends and receives employee workstation and QA testing devices including TVs.
  • Cleans and checks devices for health.
  • Coordinates courier deliveries from point to point.
  • Works with Facilities to schedule freight deliveries when necessary.
  • Other fulfillment related tasks

Technical

  • Maintains accurate asset status in CMDB.
  • Cleans CSV export data for bulk updates.
  • Client machine imaging, provisioning and mdm enrollment.
  • Client machine data backups and restores.
  • Testing and factory resetting connected smart devices, game systems and TVs
