100% Remote Senior Java Role / Sustainable eCommerce

A growing sustainable eCommerce/Supply Chain startup is looking for a Senior Java Engineer for a hands-on role. This company is focused on sustainable/green living, ideally looking for someone who is passionate, curious, and interested in mentoring a team of 5 engineers. In this role you will be developing with Java 11, Java 8, GCP (any cloud experience is fine), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest API, Microservices, MySQL, and an interest in Machine Learning. Any experience with eCommerce/supply chain is a plus, as you will be developing their customer-facing website and order fulfillment platform. This company is a fully remote opportunity, that includes equity and health benefits.

• 4+ years of professional Java experience
• Spring MVC/Spring Boot
• Rest API
• MySQL

• Experience with eCommerce or Supply Chain
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related degree
• Experience with Microservices
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Prior mentorship/ code review experience

• 80% Hands-On
• 20% Architecture/Mentorship/Code Reviews

• Competitive Pay: Up to $155K/year, DOE
