Engineer Manager / C# / .NET

An international tutoring chain based in Los Angeles is currently hiring an Engineering Manager! They are looking for a C# / .NET engineer that brings 2+ years of formal management experience and 5+ years of hands-on development experience. In this role, you will lead, engage, hire, and retain a team of 5-8 engineers. The role will be 90% management-focused and 10% hands on for scaling up their eLearning platform to be used by hundreds-of-thousands of students. You will also contribute your technical knowledge in code reviews, product releases, and scrum meetings. • 2+ years as an Engineering Manager
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer (C#/.NET Preferred)
• Strong Communication
• Ability to Lead, Engage, Hire, & Retain Developers
• CS or STEM Degree

• Prior/Current Hands Development with
  • .NET Core / Microservices /AWS
  • JavaScript / HTML / CSS
  • Entity Framework
  • Unit Testing (Xunit or Nunit)
• Coordinating Production Releases
• Software Engineering Best Practices
