This is a GROWING, tech forward accounting firm with many Individual, S Corp, Partnership, Exempt Org and Fiduciary clients.

Looking for IN PERSON/Hybrid accounting talent. Very flexible but needs to be full time employee (40 hours/week, approx 50-60 during tax season).

Roles:

Tax Manager/Reviewer

Need a Senior Level CPA to manage large, complex client groups (restaurants, RE developers, HNW individuals with multiple K1s, complex entities) and Review other accountants work

You are:

Experienced with CA tax code and tax planning for small business owners

Good at communicating and genuinely enjoy talking to people (coworkers and clients)

Generalist tax experience OR niche Real Estate / Partnership experience, Work with Small and Medium Businesses & Startups

Have experience at top accounting company (does NOT have to be Big 4)

Motivated by bonus potential and profit share (for those who think like an owner and step up to more of a leadership role)

Someone from an under-represented group (preferred, not required)

Software:

Lacerte (must have extensive experience)

Microsoft 365, Office Suite Safesend Canopy or other modern Tax management software a plus

Compensation:

Salary + Bonus ($150-200k dependent on experience and contribution to the team)

Accounts Receivable Role:

This is a full-time on-site role as an Accounts Receivable / Admin Assistant at Realm Business and Tax Advisory in Hermosa Beach, CA. The role involves managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, reconciling payments, and providing administrative support to the accounting and tax planning team.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company. In addition, you will be responsible for performing a range of administrative and financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts receivable and billing processes. Your role will contribute to the smooth financial functioning of the organization. You will also be responsible for interacting with customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent;

Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar financial role.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with customers and colleagues.

Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable by invoicing clients accurately and promptly.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Reconcile accounts to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.

Maintain records of customer transactions and interactions.

Billing: Generate and review invoices to ensure they are accurate and complete.

Address billing inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies.

Process and record financial transactions related to billing.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the office, managing emails.

Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial and administrative documents.

Assist with data entry and record-keeping tasks.

Assist in preparing financial reports as needed.

Customer Relations: Interact with customers professionally to address billing and payment-related inquiries.

Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while resolving customer issues.

Build and maintain good customer relationships.

Pay:

$50-60k depending on experience
