Our nurses are an integral part of our organization and we look forward to you joining our family.-Lena Beker, Founder:POSITION SUMMARY:We are looking for a palliative care skilled nurse (RN or LVN) to join our team. The palliative care nurse will visit patients and provide palliative care services in conjunction with other members of the palliative care team. The nurse will travel to wherever the patient resides.Home health and/or hospice experience preferred. The palliative care nurse regularly reviews and updates the plan of care, performs prescribed medical treatments (including pain management and symptom control), conducts assessments and evaluations and provides education and supportive care to patient and caregivers. Must be able to utilize computers and be comfortable with EMR. Spanish speaker a plus.QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current RN or LVN License within the State. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired and encouraged, but not required.

Experience in home health and/or hospice and/or palliative care preferred.

Valid driver's license, and auto insurance, reliable/well maintained transportation.

Spanish speaker a plus.
