Must Haves:

10-15 years of experience- doesn’t care about the programming language but for the most part they use scala and python
Experience building microservices- #1 and experian
Experience with AWS
Data Streaming + ETL experience- understands how to process data with technologies like kafta, spark, storm, etc. #2
Experience with datawarehousing, datalakes, etc. #3
Mongo, nosql, database experience
Soft skills: approachable, good communication, nice, team player, etc.
Bachelors’ degree min, masters even better

Plusses:

Experience with BI or some data science/machine learning experience

Day-to-Day:Building out the infrastructure/datalakeGetting data across from their different databasesJoining their daily 9am meetingsWorking with Diego on the architecture and be given specific assignments on how to do the architectureThen building data pipelines; as the project is being built out will need to help with issues troubleshooting, etc.
