The Solaris Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing support of over 100 Solaris zones. In addition, they will be implementing documentation standards.

salary: $85 - 95 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

Ensuring the ongoing operations of 100+ zones.
Assisting in the documentation of our current environment.
Ability to learn just-in-time, participating in a high visibility, high-impact project to implement resilience & disaster recovery for several dozen of these Solaris workloads
Depending on expertise, provide recommendations for improving the environment.
Participates in on-call rotation.

Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 6 years of experience
Education: Bachelors (required)

skills:

Oracle (6 years of experience is required)

ORACLE APPS (6 years of experience is required)

Solaris 11.4 (2 years of experience is required)

Solaris Zones (2 years of experience is required)

UNIX (6 years of experience is required)
