Principal Java Engineer

An online entertainment company is looking to add a Principal Engineer skilled with multiple programming languages to their software team in Irvine. In this position, you'll be working on at the core backend server for their streaming platform primarily working with Golang. In addition to Golang, the ideal candidate will have experience with at least one other open source language (Java, Python, Node, etc). To thrive in this environment, you should be quick on your feet, creative and ready to hit the ground running.

• 8+ years of Software Development Experience (especially with Go, Java or Python)
• 1+ year of experience with Golang
• Experience with AWS (and features like Lambda, EC2, S3)
• Comfortable developing Microservices
• Experience with DynamoDB
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field

• Master's degree in Computer Science
• Experience with video streaming companies
