Director of IT Infrastructure

A private sector client of ours is looking for Director of IT Infrastructure. This is going to be long term contract and remote role.

• Minimum of 15 years of progressively more responsible experience in leadership role within IT, preferably in a corporate IT environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more relevant industry certifications e.g. AWS Practitioner, Cisco / Juniper certifications.
• Working knowledge of Information Security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001:2013; ISO 31000: NIST 800 – 53, PCI – DSS 3.1 or higher.
• Experience working across the IT Service Lifecycle – Change, Release, Incident, Problem Management and Security Operations Lifecycle Management – Vulnerability, Patch Management.
• The ability to communicate clearly ranging from operational staff to senior executives is required.

• One or more network / infrastructure vendor certifications (example: Juniper, Cisco, VMware, F5, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Working knowledge of security management tools for patch management, vulnerability management, anti-virus management, security incident and event management, etc.
• Knowledge / experience of protecting electronic protected health information (ePHI) and sensitive customer personal identifiable information.
