Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment dealing with B to B and eComm orders. The Warehouse Team Lead will report directly to the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. Warehouse Team Lead will be responsible for the daily running of the warehouse including but not limited to, receiving, product allocation, pulling & staging of all orders, unloading/loading and all related tasks daily. Must be detail orientated and can execute all corresponding paperwork to each order processed and/or product received. A detailed instinctive mindset is a must to complete all paperwork necessary for order fulfillment; as your tasks will also require properly record receipt of products. This position requires the physical ability to lift boxes with a maximum weight less than 50 pounds as well as being on your feet majority of the day bending, kneeling and pushing / pulling products around the warehouse. Valid forklift driving certificate and experience operating Stand Up Double Reach Forklifts is a must. Must have the ability to identify materials / help needed to keep warehouse fully functioning. In addition, this position will maintain a clean, safe work area free from excess debris on floors, racks, and outside dock areas. This position requires great team work and to be a team motivator you must be a self-motivated individual with a result orientated personality.

Candidates must be available to work irregular hours and possible extended hours. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record is also a must. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Unloading of containers

Product Staging

Checking of BOL

Checking of Packing List against PO

Physical Count confirmation by SKN

Put away all goods in accordance of direction from Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Preparation / Staging of daily shipments

Daily MSTR Pack List

Review with warehouse associates

Product Staging

Organize warehouse team to pull orders accordingly

Verification of order accuracy

Application of all applicable labels for the order

Prepare pallets for routing

Record all applicable details and report to manager

Maintenance of item allocation physically on the floor

Ensure processed orders for accuracy

Check staged orders against packing lists

Labels are placed in accordance of retailer SOP

Process all applicable paperwork for daily shipments through Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Report to Shipping & Receiving Coordinator with EOD daily shipment status

Complete any product rework where applicable

Responsible for reporting in stock levels for warehouse materials, examples of but not limited to:

Carboard boxes

Packing Tapes

Shrink Wrap

Pallets

Ensuring that equipment is kept clean, free of debris and fully operational

Maintain a clean, safe work area, free from excess debris on floors, racks, and outside dock areas

Strong decision making, multi-tasking, and communication skills

Ability to work independently (self-motivated) and complete projects within required timeframes and daily problem solving and issue resolution

Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep warehouse flowing and on track with daily orders

Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results or projects as needed

Great people person and motivator

Preferred Skills & Experience:

3+ years' warehouse experience.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work without missing critical deadlines and possess excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to both adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

Hands-on problem solver

General knowledge of MS Office

Proven ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done while taking initiative and pushing projects forward under tight deadlines

Motivated by challenges and possesses a robust sense of curiosity

Demonstrates initiative by recognizing opportunities or problems and acting

Maintains an awareness of conditions that affect employee safety and consistently behaves in a safe manner and encourages others to do the same

Must be available to work regular hours and extended hours

Work conditions may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust and dirt, and working around forklifts and other power tools
