SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK WAREHOUSE

Manufacturing company seeking a highly motivated and fast paced shipping person who will also assist with product Packaging.

We are seeking a person who works with urgency to get the job done as fast and accurate as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities

The following tasks are generally performed on a daily basis:

Check orders brought from production for quality and accuracy.

Pack and weigh orders for shipment via UPS, USPS, or Truck Freight

Create Shipping Labels

Transfer finished goods from Inventory software to accounting software

Invoice all orders and charge credit cards for same day shipments

Schedule freight shipments and source the cheapest rates

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Assist packaging department with product packaging

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Must be highly detailed-oriented.

Must speak and read English fluently and follow written instructions.

Must be able to perform basic math using a calculator or computer, including adding, subtracting,

multiplying and dividing

Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift or move 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours.

Shipping and receiving experience is helpful but not essential.

Spanish language skills are a plus but not necessary.

Knowledge of Sage 50, Mass 100 or 200, Peachtree, Quickbooks preffered.
