Roll Inspector/Quality Control Technician Position

The Roll Inspector is responsible for operating our machines in the quality control department.

The four machines you could be working on are the seamer, rewinder, finisher and slitter. You will also help with other tasks as required by the Production Manager.

Compensation: Starts around $15 and grow up to $22

Responsibilities:

Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Controlling operations of equipment or systems.

Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

Being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

Possibly provide warehouse assistance.

Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

Examine/proofing products to ensure that specifications are met.

Reasonable amount of overtime is needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

High School Diploma/ GED.

Basic math skills required

Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.

Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and be on their feet for most of the day.
